• All Hardwood Construction - these coasters and holders are handmade from prime "finish grade" wood scraps salvaged from local wood mills and cabinet shops here in the Pacific Northwest. Wood types used for these coaster include alder, maple, oak, cherry, beech and other wood species. The most commonly used wood type is alder, a common but beautiful deciduous hardwood cousin of birch that is harvested in quantity in North America using sustainable forestry. Finally, each coaster is finished with a protective clear coat and we add on the felt feet.

• Flexible message location - we can engrave your text message on any of  the four planks of each coaster with up to 24 characters per plank. Or engrave any two planks (add $2/set of four), any three planks (add $4/set of four) or all four planks (add $6/set of four).

We will always center your message on the coaster planks and use the largest size text that fits into the image area (3-1/2" x 3/8"). A good tip is to experiment with your messages in a word processor or paint program using a font similar to the font you plan to engrave.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Laser engraving is a custom process which permanently marks the pallet coasters. We will replace defective items but there are no refunds for laser engraved items.
